    While I of course did not in any way expect to agree with EVERY novel or novella that chief editor and book compiler Peter Boxall has considered worthy of inclusion in his 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die and although MANY of my personal favourites are indeed and happily present I do have three main and very personally uncomfortable issues with this tome which actually grate enough for me to now only consider a high one
