Just 64 pages long this delightfully simple book is something that I feel was much needed in my life I ve been relentlessly working on my self improvement and I ve realised it s so easy to look so inwards that you forget to consider ideas on how you can positively affect others around you And you or I will never be successful to our greatest degree possible if we only think about ourselves our careers our relationships our hobbies and our self improvement There s an inherent paradox in self improvement that a lot of us miss It s only by improving other people s lives through using our greatest strengths that we improve our life in the most profound way There s a synergy here that s incredibly rewarding when you work on stuff that you love doing but also benefits others To that end this book made me consider creative avenues where I could help others And even if it s for free or pro bono I know that by working that muscle I will eventually end up reaping the rewards just the same way the other person will reap the rewards from what they receive More and I realise that all the reading and experimentation I m also doing needs to be slightly adjusted so that it creates a net positive effect on society And society is a term that I mean very loosely It could mean just those around me even my little brother The people who amass the greatest wealth often produce the amount of most significant value not always but most of the time Firstly it starts with those around them Then to a greater amount of people And so on and so forth That s how all businesses start But I always felt like there was this divide in my head between working on myself and working for others Through reading this book I realise now that these two things can be merged into one Let s use this book review as an example By reviewing this book I deepen the mental pathways related to the lessons I gained from reading it I gain better clarity on how it helped me At the same time through reading this you re able to get an insight into this book that you otherwise wouldn t have Maybe it stirs some change in you and improves your behaviour by 1% Or maybe it causes you to buy this book and then sets a chain reaction where you now consider books from this author Whatever happens I am helping myself and whoever reads this review at the same timeNow I m considering where I can do this and in my life This book is especially delightful because of its brevity and elouent message Pretend God Is Deaf profound thinkers and mind expanding individuals I’ve ever had a chance to listen to” Les Brown“Jim Rohn is a master motivator he has style substance charisma relevance charm and what he says makes a difference The world would be a better Cased Images & Tintypes KwikGuide place if everyone heard my friend Jim Rohn” Mark Victor Hansen Includes a special offer for a FREE Jim Rohn aud.
